FAWM 2022 #5: Down the Middle
I thought this was going somewhere else, but it turned into a fiddle tune: who am I to argue?

Made with my rough-and-ready DIY banjer:

The "head" is a tin dish purported by the junk dealer here in Fredericksburg to be from a Civil War-era mess kit. I'm doubtful, as there weren't any real standard-issue kits back then, but it makes a good story, anyway.
Collab with @vaughan.
Because the lyric isn't mine, I'm not posting it.
Took the inspiration for this from one of the Sunday Secrets at PostSecret:

In Virginia, at least, we'll often see groundhogs up on their hind legs next to the road, seeming to enjoy the breeze from the passing traffic.
A mood piece to cap off my set of winter instrumentals.
Uploaded without recording vocals because I'm on the edge of losing my voice today. The piano here is a "guide track" -- it wouldn't be present in the final mix.
Another stringband waltz, this time with lyrics inspired by the last weekend before FAWM: we had our first real snowfall of the winter, and I spotted a fox working up from our wood backyard, climbing our snowy driveway to the street.
Protesteth too much?
Riff on lines from a favorite movie.
