FAWM 2019 #4: Rat Killin' Time
When the time comes...
When the time comes...
While rushing around getting equipment ready for this year's FAWM, I somehow neglected to secure a monocle. Nevertheless, I've soldiered on.
"Froggy Went a Courtin'" meets "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner", maybe?
FAWMxiety, anyone?
An ode to roommates everywhere.
Thanks to all the FAWMers who have made this month so fun!
One more for the road... Kind of a downer, but the songs don't always present themselves in the expected order.
This one is, in title at least, a companion piece to Suddenly Sad, but moving in the opposite direction.
There is something about slow, sad waltzes that strikes deep for me.
I wanted to set my hand to one this year.
I likely have it in the wrong key for my voice, but don't have enough
February left to re-record, so I'm going with it as is.
I realized while recording this song that it is sort of a companion
piece to Brambles and Briars
which I hadn't intended at all.
Claiming the key change challenge, although one could argue agin' it.
Collab, based on my End of the Line instrumental. Not posting here because the lyrics aren't mine.
